Al Dhafra Restaurant in Mina, Abu Dhabi, U.A.E.

Abu Dhabi boasts an array of local and international restaurants. But whenever we crave of fresh seafood, Al Dhafra Restaurant in Al Mina Port is on top of our list. It’s close to Mina Fish Market and although it looks like a hole in the wall restaurant, the variety of fresh seafood will not leave you unsatisfied.  We were invited by my sister-in-law to celebrate her birthday in Al Dhafra Restaurant.  The restaurant offers buffet and a la carte menu.     The Restaurant's Interior with Arabic Chandelier Fresh Seafoods Variety of Sauces and Dips While waiting for your meal, they will serve you dates and warm kuboosh (pita bread).  Grilled local fish, skewered cuttlefish and baked mussels. Abu Dhabi Observation Deck at 300

Image
We were invited for dinner by our visitors from Philippines. They were staying in Jumeirah at Etihad Towers and we're lucky because we're able to have an access to Abu Dhabi Observation Deck at 300.  For more than a decade in U.A.E., it was our first time in the observation deck.  It's on 74th floor of Tower 2 that's why on your way up the lift you can feel slight ear pressure but the view is all worth it.  The timings on the website says it's from 1000H - 1800H daily but we're allowed to stay till 1900H. We went up at 1815H and it's the perfect time as the sun is setting and we can start to see the city lights.  If you're not a guest of the hotel, you can pay AED 85 but AED 50 is consumable for drinks or sandwiches. Tip: You should keep your camera pointed near the glass to avoid reflections.   U.A.E. Presidential Palace Marina Mall Emirates Palace Before Sunset Emirates Palace at Night
