Pinoy Avenue ~ A Good Find in Mussafah, Abu Dhabi, U.A.E.

There’s a scarcity of good Filipino restaurants in Mussafah so when a churchmate mentioned Pinoy Avenue, we planned to try it out after attending mass. It’s easy to find especially with the help of google map.

The ambience is good. Well lit and Filipino decors will make you feel you’re at home.

We love it that they’re playing on T.V. local artists from Philippines in Wish 107.5 FM.

The staff advised me that their bestseller for “SILOG (SINANGAG & ITLOG)” variant is TAPSILOG. My husband tried their version of PANSIT PALABOK.

Waiting time for the main course is up to 15 minutes. It’s good to know that the meal was cooked and prepared from the time you placed your order. While waiting, you can have unlimited free soup. Their TAPSILOG is not bad. I love their sinangag as there were crunchy bits and they added a serving of atsara. Their tapa is okay. It’s moist but some parts of the meat are not very tender.

My husband’s pansit palabok is tasty as we can taste tinapa and chicharon (I hope there’s more chicharon for the crunchy taste).

For dessert, we decided to try their version of HALO-HALO. Special halo-halo has leche flan and it’s more expensive by 3 Dhs (regular halo-halo costs 15 Dhs).

Good thing the restaurant accepts debit or credit card just in case you don’t have cash on hand.
All in all, not a bad experience. We’ll definitely come back to try their other meals.
